Welcome
Come experience our expansive model train layout, a room so vast that it takes our model trains a full 20 minutes to traverse the entire track. Prepare to be astounded by the meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of the track, featuring hand-crafted scenery that breathes life into each section, from enchanting buildings to vibrant trees. If you possess a deep passion for model railroading or harbor a fascination for railroading history, we extend a warm invitation to join us for our club meetings every Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. Our amiable group of 40 members eagerly awaits your presence. Hop aboard and become a part of our wonderful community.
The Bunker Hill Train Club not only serves as a host for a Railroad Museum, but it also showcases a remarkable collection of historic railroad artifacts. These artifacts, which have been generously donated or loaned, offer a glimpse into the rich history of railroading. From a coal stove once used in a B&O caboose to lanterns that illuminated the way for trainmen on the Pennsylvania Railroad, the museum houses a diverse range of fascinating pieces.
Attention all railroad enthusiasts and history buffs! We are thrilled to announce that in 2021, we showcased the grandest model train exhibition in the Tri-State Area at the iconic Martinsburg’s Historic Roundhouse. This extraordinary event mesmerized both passionate hobbyists and avid historians.
